Tribute - September 22, 2007
I did not know Peter personally but met him through his wonderful family when they attended the 2006 Walk for a Cure.  Peter was an amazing person and what he accomplished toward finding a cure will long be remembered.  Peter's E2E bike ride may even be the single event that someday will be remembered as the turning point that lead to a cure for GIST.  It was easy to see from his children's faces that they took great pride in having a father with so much strength, a strength that will surely carry them through their lives ahead.  My best to Peter's family and friends.  --Bill Smith
